Cappadocia Package Tours – Itinerary
Day 1 Antalya to Kayseri by Flight on arrival to Kayseri Transfer to Hotel for overnight stay .
Day 2 Cappadocia unique destination of Turkey with its amazing landscape. First visit will be Dervent valley, than proceed to the Pasabag fairy chimneys which is known as Monk valley. After words we will drive to Avanos town. Avanos well known with its handmade terracotta and ceramic art work. We will have demonstration to see how the ceramics made by hand. Lunch will be featuring selection of Turkish cuisine. In the afternoon we are going to explore Goreme Open Air Museum to see the wall paintings that is telling stories of bible. Goreme open air museum was a complex with sanctuaries, churches, monasteries from the early Christianity period. Last stop will be panoramic viewpoint of down below the Uchisar Castle where you can see the castle and Goreme town with it is fantastic natural volcanic scenery lunch included.
Day 3 Today we will have another marvelous experience in Cappadocia. We are going to explore the Red valley throughout Cavus inn Village and hike about 2 km. Cavusin village still has the remarks of ancient settlements. Afterwards drive to lunch , in the afternoon enjoy the seamless panoramic view of Pigeon Valley. In the afternoon we are going to visit Underground City, Underground cities are constructed for the security reasons in ancient time also used by the Christians to hide themselves from the pressures of Roman empire. Underground city was eight floor; today we are able to see only four floors, It could accommodate 5000 people in emergency times. Those cities have depots, kitchens, bedrooms, ventilation shafts, churches and more… We are going to break at Ortahisar town. Transfer to airport for the flight back to Istanbul. On arrival to Istanbul you will be transferred to your hotels. Breakfast and Lunch .
